Producer Compensation NoticeHCC, through its operating subsidiaries, compensates producers for the sale and service of the various insurance products sold on behalf of its operating subsidiaries. Generally, producers are paid a commission, which is fixed or based on a percentage of the premium written. In addition, producers may be eligible for various forms of incentive compensation, including contingent commissions. The availability and amount of incentive compensation may be based on a number of factors. These may include the level of premium written, overall profitability, or other performance measures established by HCC. HCC's Producer Disclosure Policy HCC and its operating subsidiaries are committed to the full disclosure of producer compensation information to their insureds. It is the policy of HCC to require retail producers to disclose the existence of any incentive compensation arrangements along with the terms thereof. In addition to the disclosure requirements of HCC and its operating subsidiaries, producers must comply with all applicable laws relating to the receipt of incentive compensation.
